Privacy policy
Last updated on 5 September 2026
This policy covers www.preacton.com. It says what we collect, why, where it goes and how to get it removed. If something here is unclear, write to info@preacton.com and we will explain it.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into a form on this site, plus anonymous usage data.
- Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message.
- Career form: your name, email address, the position you picked, your cover letter and the resume file you upload.
- Analytics: pages viewed, rough location by country and the type of device, with no name attached.
Why we collect it
Contact form details are used to answer your enquiry and to quote for the work you describe. Career form details are used to review your application and to get back to you about the role. Analytics tells us which pages people read so we can improve them.
We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing email to an address you gave us for an enquiry.
Where your data goes
Form submissions leave your browser and land in tools we use to run the company.
- Google Workspace: submissions are written to a spreadsheet, and a resume file is saved to a Google Drive folder that only the hiring team can open.
- Vercel: hosts this website and keeps standard server logs of requests.
- Google Analytics: records anonymous usage of the site.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry or an application until you ask us to delete it. Ask by writing to info@preacton.com from the address you used, and we will remove the record and any resume file.
Cookies
This site sets no cookie of its own. Our analytics provider sets cookies to count visits. You can block them in your browser settings and the site will still work.
Your choices
Write to info@preacton.com to ask for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We reply within 30 days.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and for people looking for work. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes are described in the section they affect, not hidden in a rewrite.
