From an idea to a first paying customer
We build and run our own product, so we are not guessing at this part. The hard problems in a SaaS are not the features. They are shipping something small enough to launch, and keeping the monthly running cost below what your customers pay you.
Quote on request. We reply with a scope, a timeline and a price.
The situation this fixes
There is an idea, and a list of features that has grown every time somebody was asked what they thought of it. Built as listed, it is a year of work before anybody can pay for it.
The other half of the problem is cost. A product priced at a few hundred rupees a month cannot sit on infrastructure that bills whether or not anyone is using it, and that is discovered after launch when it is expensive to change.
What you get
A first version narrow enough to launch
We help cut the feature list down to the one thing a customer will pay for, and build that. Everything else waits until a real user asks for it, which is the only reliable way to know it was needed.
Accounts and subscriptions
Sign up, log in, plans, trials, upgrades and cancellations. The parts every SaaS needs and nobody wants to spend their launch budget rediscovering.
Billing that survives real payments
Recurring payments, failed payments, expiries and refunds handled properly, so a customer with a lapsed card is not silently locked out of something they paid for.
An admin panel to run the business
See your customers, their plans and their payments, and fix a problem for one of them without a developer touching the database.
Running costs that scale down
Built on infrastructure that costs close to nothing when nobody is using it. This is the difference between a product that survives a quiet month and one that does not.
An Android app from the same code
When the product needs to be on a phone, it ships as an Android app from the same codebase, so there is one product to fix rather than two.
Who this suits
- A founder with a specific problem to solve and real people who have it
- A business that already sells a service and wants to sell it as software
- Anyone who has been quoted for a year of work and suspects they should launch sooner
How it goes
- 1
A call
The idea, who has the problem, and what they do about it today.
- 2
Scope the first version
We cut the list to what a first customer will pay for, and price that.
- 3
Design you see first
The main screens and the signup flow, approved before building.
- 4
Build, then launch small
Live with real signups and real payments, as early as it can safely be.
- 5
Then keep going
What gets built next is decided by what paying users ask for.
Questions we get asked
- Do you take equity instead of payment?
- No. We are paid for the work, which keeps the relationship simple and means our advice about scope is not affected by our own stake.
- Who owns the code?
- You do, entirely, including the repository and the infrastructure accounts. Nothing is held back.
- What will it cost to run each month?
- We give you the figure during scoping, and we build to keep it low, because our own product is priced for customers paying a small monthly amount and had to be.
